Bama is widely recognised as the leading Indigenous-owned business and Indigenous employer across in civil engineering and construction, building and landscape construction, and facilities and garden maintenance throughout Northern Queensland.
For 10 years, Bama has been constructing roads, drainage and bridges, including sealing the Peninsula Developmental Road in Cape York, building and renovating residential, commercial and industrial facilities and providing landscape and building maintenance services from Townsville to the tip of Cape York and Torres Strait.
Bama Services have a strong public and private sector customer base across all levels of Government – local, State and Federal. They also develop long term partnerships with large-scale national contractors as their preferred delivery partner.
As a 100% Indigenous owned, social enterprise, they employ long-term unemployed Indigenous men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with an opportunity to develop a long and sustainable career with ongoing training in the civil and construction industry.
