The Wandering Teapot

Our social enterprise tea business was proudly established in 2018 as an initiative of the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre to help combat the crippling rates of youth unemployment, poverty and homelessness affecting our beautiful region.

The project aims to provide an empowering workplace for youth to learn life-long skills while helping us in our vision to end local poverty. Our trainee ‘Tea Crew’ are inspired to lead the project with help from local ‘at-risk’ youth to work in our tea manufacturing, tea cafe and Comfort Kitchen programs.
